Dreamerie Exchange

Dreamerie Exchange is a lifestyle brand selling small-batch, hand-poured affirmation candles with an intention to expand their product lines into body and self-care offerings in the future.

the challenge

Emily’s goals go way beyond the mere production and selling of heartfelt handmade items. With her current and future services, she seeks to elevate people and empower them to do better things for themselves, for those around us, and for Earth.

Regardless of her customers’ age, they all have a common desire to make their life more meaningful and fulfilling by listening to and following their inner voice.During our research, we’ve found that, though all of them are on the right path in their own chapter of life, they feel a void and an enigmatic incompleteness.

Their apparently “perfect” life restrains them from wanting something more and extraordinary; in fact, they even might be ashamed of their thirst for more.They are in desperate need of a supportive community or even the slightest affirmation that their desires are real, valid, and, most of all, achievable.

the solution & concept

The brand identity was developed in line with the needs of her target audience: with an aesthetic and vibe that lets them embrace their own journey and provides affirmations without toxic positivity, it encourages them to immerse in the ups and downs of life.

The brand has a warmer undertone, creating a more welcoming feeling, but has high contrast representing the ups and downs of the customers’ journey and the power they need to admit their current situation. It has a more strong, powerful, and independent vibe, encouraging action towards their goals.

The logo

The moon is the middle ground between the light of the sun and the darkness of the night, and thus, often represents the realm between the conscious and the unconscious, a field of our hidden dreams.

In astrology, the moon is a symbol of the soul and could provide an analogy for the stages of human development with the crescent being youth and adolescence. But at the same time, it could represent an inner development and journey: a growing and fulfilling soul.

The sun is a representation of inner fire and light that breaks through the circle of completeness whilst radiating warmth and life-giving power. Our dreams shouldn’t be a dim light that we guard fearfully. We should bring them to light, so it not only gives power to us but can elevate and vitalize others as well.

The delicate ligatures in the logotype symbolize the support of the community and the connection between like-minded souls.
